It’s common knowledge that social media users hate any changes when it comes to their much loved social media platforms.
Whether it’s Facebook changing it’s new feed, Instagram changing it’s algorithm or Twitter changing it’s ‘favourite’ blue star to a ‘like’ heart… it all causes a bit of a stir.
For some users, who had seen sneak peaks beforehand, it wasn’t such a shock when Instagram revealed their brand new logo and sleeker look last week. For others it was pure outrage!
At Social Peanut, we personally love the new look! We were fans of the retro styled and vintage look of the old logo too, however all brands change and evolve over time and it’s just human nature to want to resist it.
